The 2025–2026 season of the Brazos Valley Chorale offers an inspiring journey through time, tradition, and musical innovation. Under the banner “A Season of Song: Traditions Old and New,” each concert reflects a unique facet of choral artistry—honoring our heritage, embracing seasonal light, celebrating theatrical magic, and culminating in a masterwork of deep emotional resonance.
Voices in Concert: Celebrating America’s 250th Birthday, 5pm, October 19, 2025, First Presbyterian Church, 1100 Carter Creek Parkway, Bryan, TX
In honor of the United States’ semi quincentennial, BVC launches the season with a stirring tribute to American spirit and song. Patriotic favorites such as Battle Hymn of the Republic, America the Beautiful, and God Bless America join with Z. Randall Stroope’s evocative Homeland and Hubert Parry’s majestic I Was Glad to create a program filled with pride, unity, and reverence. A collaboration with Brazos Breeze and the Texas A&M Singing Cadets further amplifies the celebratory tone. A great way to kick off America’s 250th with friends and family.

BVC’s annual holiday concert invites warmth and wonder with seasonal classics and luminous new works. From Bach’s radiant Break Forth O Beauteous, Heavenly Light to Rutter’s joyful Star Carol and Whitacre’s ethereal Lux Arumque, this concert illuminates the power of light in the midst of winter. Chamber selections, beloved carols, and a grand finale of Hark! The Herald Angels Sing unite choirs and audience in celebration. Be on the lookout for a special guest all the way from the North Pole! Family and friends of all ages are welcome to help us ring in the holiday season!
Stage and Screen Spectacular, 6pm, March 14, 2026, First Methodist Church, 506 E. 28th St., Bryan, TX (Includes Dinner)
In this exuberant showcase of musical theater, the Chorale brings Broadway and film favorites to life. Audiences will delight in extended medleys from Oklahoma!, The Sound of Music, Wicked, and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, combining theatrical storytelling with choral brilliance. Members of the Chorale will showcase their talent through solo and small group acts highlighting many musical genres in our annual variety show. This concert promises variety, energy, and fun for all ages.
A Triumph of Sound, 5pm, May 3, 2026, Rudder Theatre, 401 Joe Routt Blvd, Texas A&M University
The season closes with a powerful performance of Brahms’ Ein Deutsches Requiem in collaboration with A&M United Methodist Church in College Station and their choir under the direction of Michael Vaughn. This monumental work, featuring soloists and rich ensemble textures, offers both solace and triumph, drawing the season to a thoughtful and transcendent close. A profound musical experience that uplifts and inspires.
