The season begins by celebrating the musical traditions that continue to inspire us today. Journeying from the timeless beauty of Renaissance masterworks to beloved spirituals and luminous contemporary choral music, Roots and Radiance explores how voices from every era continue to shape our shared musical heritage. Magnificat: A Thrill of Hope

Hope finds its voice in this joyful celebration of the Christmas season. Featuring Vivaldi’s exuberant Magnificat, Britten’s enchanting Ceremony of Carols, and cherished holiday favorites alongside the Bluebonnet Children’s Choir, this concert invites audiences of all ages to experience wonder, peace, and anticipation that the define the season. Stage and Screen Spectacular

Experience an unforgettable evening of Broadway favorites and cinematic classics as the Brazos Valley Chorale brings beloved stories to life through song. Whether you’re a lifelong musical theatre enthusiast or discovering these iconic scores for the first time, this entertaining concert offers something for everyone, celebrating the power of music to transport, inspire, and unite audiences across generations. The season concludes with two of the most moving choral works of the modern era: John Ritter’s Requiem and Morten Lauridsen’s Lux Aeterna. Together, these deeply expressive masterpieces offer a journey from reflection to hope, exploring themes of comfort, remembrance, and enduring light.
